Norman Robins (1914-1988);  Born In Germany 1914, Arrived in Australia 1955, Died in 1988

 Very Vesertile Painter in Oil, mainly know for his landscape but he also painted Abstract, Still Life, Genre Subject and Figuratives.

 . Migrated to UK in 1939, served in the British Army for over six years, worked in commercial art in London before coming to Australia in 1955.

Norman Robins began paint professionally after arriving Australia and achieved wide recongition with his individualistic style.

 He widely exhibited around Australia especially in Sydney, held numerous Solo-Exhibitions.

 In 1988 after his death, a retrospective exhibition was held at Holdsworth Galleries in Sydney.
